This episode is highly acclaimed Liberty National Golf Club, located in the beautiful Liberty State Park on the Upper New York Bay in Jersey City, NJ. Head Designer Zuni Madera of NYC-based interior design firm Foley & Cox gave us a tour of the gorgeous, exclusive guest villas they designed on the vast property of the golf club. The club’s guest houses boast impressive views overlooking the NYC skyline and lady liberty herself and feature luxury amenities such as fully loaded modern kitchens, custom furniture from the Foley & Cox home collection, custom lighting, and vast, open floor plan balconies that sit on the water and are ideal for entertaining guests and relaxation. Spacious, full-height glass walls within the space give the villas a minimal, modern, and somewhat of a mixed coastal, nautical, yet Bauhaus feeling with a mostly neutral palette with textural pops of flashy color within the artwork and accessories. A fresh new perspective on modernizing a golf club.
